Hacienda La Caldera

Wine, sustainability and Mediterranean spirit

The Wine&Country Club is a residential project situated in the Ronda mountain range, built around wine and its associated culture. It features a profound sense of respect for local nature and tradition.

An unparalleled setting: a group of wine-growing haciendas, each with its own vineyard, fully integrated into the local ecosystem with its centuries-old pastureland. And all administration and maintenance is handled by the Club.

This concept, unique in southern Europe, is only for the chosen few.

Delight in creating your very own wine and enjoy it in the company of your choosing in this exceptional haven.

HACIENDAS

Magnificent native meadowland spread over more than 200 hectares plays host to 30 wine-growing haciendas, each with its own vineyard.

Ronda

The Wine and Country Club lies in the interior of the province of Malaga, just 50 minutes from the capital and the Costa del Sol. It stands in incomparably beautiful scenery, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, but enjoys extraordinarily good connections.

It is within easy reach of all the main cities of Andalusia, with their airports and modern communication hubs: cosmopolitan Seville, gorgeous Granada, Cordoba and Cadiz…, and just a short drive from all the finest beaches, harbours and tourist resorts.

You can be in Marbella in under an hour and in Gibraltar in less than two. Ronda is a well-kept secret, one of the best-connected retreats anywhere on the Mediterranean.

The Wine & Country Club: the spirit of a unique project

Bodega La Melonera

In spring 2003, the team at La Melonera envisioned a monumental project: to recover for the Ronda region —and for the world at large— a wine-growing tradition dating back over 3000 years.

The La Melonera project is constructed around two central themes: recovering historical grape varieties and cultivating viniculture of excellence in harmony with the features of the terroir.
